Welcome

People seek mental health support for all sorts of reasons.

Perhaps you’re struggling to make sense of past experiences and how they are impacting your life today. Maybe you feel like things aren’t quite right, that you want things to get back to normal. Maybe everything is falling apart.

Seeing a trained therapist can make all the difference.

Integrative Psychotherapy

Integrative psychotherapy is an approach to mental health which looks at the whole person and utilises a whole range of therapeutic modalities. We use evidence-based practices to design treatments that are uniquely suited to your needs.

It is not a one-size-fits-all approach, because we know that one size does not fit all. We want to give you the tools and the knowledge to make the changes that you want to see.

Integrative Attachment Therapy (IAT)

We specialise in treating attachment disturbance. Attachment refers to the emotional bonds that form in early childhood based on our experiences with our caregivers. When these experiences are disrupted, we have difficult with self-esteem, emotional regulation and relationships later in life. IAT provides a systematic methodology to identify and treat attachment disorder in adults and to distinguish attachment disorder from unresolved grief or trauma.

We believe that good therapy:

helps you understand yourself

gives you tools, strategies and skills

makes change possible

Our Services

  • They are two sides of the same coin. Both are common and often experienced together, even at the same time. There are many reasons people experience anxiety and depression.

  • Trauma happens when someone is exposed to severe stress which is prolonged/repetitive, involves harm/abandonment and/or occurs at a developmentally vulnerable age.

  • Grief and loss are part of human life. Sometimes we must grieve the death of loved ones. Other times we must grieve the life we didn’t have or the roads we didn’t take.

  • Roughly 50% of people seeking treatment do so for relationship issues. Having healthy relationships is a cornerstone of good mental health. Therapy is helpful for understanding your relational patterns, setting healthy boundaries and getting clear on what you need from your relationships
